NBA Champion Payton Pritchard This summer he added another ring to his collection – a Celtic green engagement ring.

“I gave an incredible congratulation to my brother P. Rabbit yesterday,” Brown wrote on social media.

Brown also shared a video of a wedding officiant, a former teammate Blake Griffintaking the opportunity to outline some expectations for the evening.

“I’m not allowed to do Payton at any point tonight,” the 35-year-old former NBA All-Star joked. “So don’t come in when Payton’s not around and ask me to do it.”

Pritchard and Griffin have become fast friends in the latter’s only year in Boston in 2022-23. Griffin, Pritchard, Luke Kornet and Sam Hauser They shared a bond with the Boston bench and called themselves the “Boys from Bus 1” because they were always the first to arrive at the arena on game days.

In February, during an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast, Pritchard and White revealed that they had unsuccessfully tried to recruit Griffin for another season in Boston.

Griffin officially retired from the NBA in April, two months before Payton Pritchard and the Celtics won a record 18th NBA championship in franchise history.
